Mr. Tom Waseleski

BIOGRAPHY

Tom Waseleski has been editorial page editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette since 2003 and a member of the editorial board since 1990. Prior to that, he was state editor and oversaw the newspaper's bureaus in Harrisburg and Washington. A former reporter with the state desk, Tom also co-produced the Post-Gazette's weekly public affairs shows, "KD/PG Sunday Edition" at KDKA-TV, and, prior to that, "The Editors" at WQED-TV. He is the winner of local, state and national writing awards and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

He has been an NCEW board member, convention chair and membership committee captain. He is a past president of the Pennsylvania Associated Press Managing Editors and also the Pittsburgh chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
